Plains,trains and automobiles

I chose to use the layout to celebrate my daughters first day of play school. When I put it together I thought of a train because she was so ready. For my letters I used Plantin School book, the train was all made used using My Community and the tracks were made using Everyday Paperdolls. My niece came up with the title. Thanks Kenzie.

Olympic theme cricut challenge

I have decided to enter a Olympic/sports related theme to this weeks Fantabulous Cricut challenge. I chose curling as my sport. In our family curling is one of our favorite sports. Almost all of us curl. So when my oldest was born she was given her first pair of curling shoes (seen here on the first page) by her grandma Carol and grandpa Rollie. As for the broom grandpa Bill cut off an old one of his for her. The rule for the shoes was that she needed to be taken on the ice with the shoes and we had to capture it for everyone to see how little she was when she first got on the ice. She is now starting to curl on her very own this year. It is a tradition now at the end of every curling season to go on the ice to see how far she can throw a rock.

As for what cartridges I used just one and that was Go Canada. In that cartridge I found the phrase, rings, broom and rock and I just new this was the layout I had to put together.

S'mores Fantabulous cricut challenge 122

I am entering my s'mores layout for this weeks challenge. Just like the bubble above the bird, my family is always asking for s'more. I used Three birds on a parade, Campin Critter and Create a Critter. I stamped the fire using my Peachy Keen stamps and then finished it off with using flocking powder to make my marshmallow pop out a bit.

Peachy keen- Anything goes

I made this layout to celebrate one of our favorite things to do camping and that is making and eating s'mores. I used Camping critter for my porcupine and for the fire I used Create a critter. I also used Create a critter for the stars that I used around my photo. The peachy Keen set I used was Everyday faces.
